In this fun class, we paint nature, buildings and what we see from observation. We study composition, color and light.
Art supplies: sketchbook, charcoal, oil paints: yellow ochre, burnt sienna, ivory black, titanium white, alizarin crimson, cadmium yellow cobalt blue, linseed oil, gamsol, small jar, hog bristle flat, or round paintbrushes sizes: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, paint knife, stretched canvas, or canvas pad, or primed wood panel, or oil Arches paper size 8 x 11, painting palette, paper towels, plein-air easel, sketch pad board, masking tape, sun hat, silicon, or rubber surgical gloves to protect your skin from chemicals while painting.
